Itinerary
Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (No Meal)
Welcome to Saigon! Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGM), a tour guide will meet you and guide you to your driver for transfer to your hotel.
Then you are free. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Meal included: None.
Day 02: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels SIC (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Our guide and car will pick you up at hotel lobby for Cu Chi tunnel tour at 08:30 am. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigner. The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a network of underground tunnels in
Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities. Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh city, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”
Lunch at local restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city, tour ends at around 15:30. Free and easy time at night in Hochiminh city with plenty of activities near-by hotels.

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. At around 09:00 am our talented guide with the motorbike picks you up at your hotel for the 4hour motorbike tour. After a short riding instruction and program introduction, we hop on the motorbike. First stop is at tourist attractions in District 1 including Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office where you admire the beauty of old French architectural works, learn more about history and culture, take the most beautiful photos in the city. A lovely book street next to the post office is worth wandering. we will visit Venerable Thich Quang Duc Monument. We will tell you some less-known history and story about the monk and his unburned heart. Head to District 3 and a Nguyen Thien Thuat apartment building which were built in the 1960s and have been home to lots of Saigon people. There you can see the real Saigon local life. Before reaching the coffee shop, we stop at one of Saigon’s Top 3 Banh mi shops, see how they make a great Vietnamese sandwich with crispy crust and amazing fillings. Drive to a small street food stall which is over 20 years old to learn how they wrap and grill one of top Saigon Street foods – Grilled banana & sticky rice in banana leaves. It is a big chance to stop at Cheo Leo Cafe – an 80-year coffee shop hidden in an alley and famous for its distinct “Vot” coffee. There you sit around a table, take a rest, enjoy the drink, eat Vietnamese bread, Grilled banana in sticky rice, and chat leisurely with the guide as a friend like locals. You also learn how to make a cup of “Vot” coffee and interact with the nice owner of the coffee shop. Then we head to District 10 and stop at Ho Thi Ky flower market – a huge wholesale flower market where you have a chance to see thousands of colourful flowers, fresh vegetables, live animals, and many strange things. After that, we drive around hidden parts including fashion street, painting street, medicine street, electronic market, fabric market, lantern market, fruit market, bird market gives you an insider view of the hidden city which is missed on normal city tours by car/bus. Escaping from the noisy and busy streets, we head to Thien Hau Temple to listen to mysterious stories, learn more about the unique architecture and religious life. On the way to District 1, we stop to eat again at an over 20-year-old restaurant known as Top 5 Places to eat Vietnamese pancake in Saigon. The guide shows you how the cook makes thin, large, and crispy pancakes skilfully, how to wrap the cake in vegetables and eat. There we also enjoy Rice noodles with grilled pork/fried roll – a specialty food of the city. Guide drive back to your hotel after passing by Ben Thanh Market. It is time to say goodbye, the Private Saigon Sightseeing & Food Tour by Motorbike ends but memories last forever.

Day 04: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Car and drive will take you to Cai Be for the Mekong Delta cruise tour. Arrive at Phu An Jetty and begin cruising at around 10:00 am. From the sampan, observe life as it plays out on shore – people going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes – while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. Before arriving at Sa Dec, stop at various points along the river for a look into some of the cottage industries of the region including a brick factory where everything is made by hand, pass monkey bridges and tiny villages to visit a Cao Dai temple. Arrive in Sa Dec and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit one of the highlights of the charming town, the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, a real-life character in the celebrated novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras. Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. Explore the countryside surroundings by local rowboat. After returning onboard, Song Xanh Sampan continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 05: Cai Be - Can Tho (Breakfast)
Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting from 5:00 am. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta, making for some stunning photos. Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty.

Guide and car meet and take you to visit Ong pagoda built in the late 19th century to worship Kuang Kung, a deity symbolising loyalty, justice, reason, intelligence, honour and courage among other merits.
Continue to visit a large Khmer pagoda in Can Tho city, Munir Ansay pagoda. This pagoda is not only one of the most beautiful pagodas of the Western Capital, but also a symbol of Khmer architecture. Munir Ansay Pagoda built in 1948 with simple bamboo materials. After many times of restoration and reconstruction, the pagoda has the new appearance like today. Check in hotel and free afternoon for your own activities.
At about 18:00, guide will meet you at hotel lobby and have a quick briefing about the walking tour, about local foods, about lifestyles, and night activities in Can Tho city. Guide and driver will take you to the local park (not riverside park) where many locals do exercises, play shuttlecocks and jog together after a busy day…you will feel more about the real local lives when you wander about the park with your new friend – an informative guide. Food stop 01 is coming soon after weaving through the corners. The local will cook every single yummy original fried prawn cake in front of your eyes and serve you with the most famous crispy local street food in CanTho city. Food stop 02, our local expert tour guide will take you to the best secret soup in Can Tho. Are you ready for one more taste? Food stop 03, Vietnamese Grilled Pork Patty Salad Rice Paper Rolls, your guide will explain different ingredients combined with this food from lemon grass, baby corn salad, star fruit…to the dipping sauce. Cheers! Or 1..2..3 dzooo….Vietnamese’s style. Food stop 04, a secret food at a beautiful and meaningful Can Tho hidden gem! Food stop 05, after having good friends, food foods, good laughs, now is good views. You will have a fantastic drink with a bird’s eye view of CanTho’s rooftop and riverside sky cafe by night. Around 09:30 PM, your guide and driver will take back to your place. End the “Taste of Can Tho” tour.

Day 06: Can Tho - Phu Quoc Island VN1741 - 11:40 / 12:35 (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Free morning until time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Phu Quoc, one of the amazing beach destinations in Vietnam with a pristine island, white sand beaches, and palm trees. This destination is warm with lots of sunshine so suitable for you to relax on the beach and do many interacting water outdoor activities like swimming, snorkeling, beach hopping, island hopping and sunbathing… Besides you also should not miss the Phu Quoc cable cab ride with a panorama view all of the Island. Car and guide pick up at the airport then transfer to hotel. Check in and free time for your own activities.

Day 07: Phu Quoc Island - 3 Island Exploring SIC (Breakfast / Lunch)
Breakfast at hotel and be ready for a day trip out exploring islands. Tour guide and car pick up at your hotel lobby at around 08:30 then getting onboard at An Thoi habor. Boat trip to visit 3 islands.
Approaching Buom Island, we’ll stop, put on snorkel masks and jump off the boat. We’ll spend an hour swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters and seeing the island’s most precious natural treasure up close: coral reefs.; The next stop is Gam ghi island, coral reef sites where tourist will Join in an underwater adventure and explore a coral reef kingdom under the Phu Quoc Sea by snorkeling. Lunch is served onboard or on the island. We’ll next sail over to May Rut Island, a paradise tropical island covered in jungle. The boat will dock just off the shore, and you’ll have time to enjoy beach bar and many water activities offered on the island. Back to pier and car transfer back you to hotel at around 17:00.

Day 08: Phu Quoc Island (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Free whole day for your relaxation at resort.

Guide and car pick-up at hotel lobby around 09:00. Visit a pearl farm to leran about the culture of pearl harvesting. Scenic drive up along the hillside, stop at Ho Quoc pagoda, known as Truc Lam Ho Quoc, which is the largest and most peaceful Buddhist temple on Phu Quoc Island. The temple is situated along the coastal 10-km road in north of Sao Beach, that’s why the panoramic sea view afforded from the temple grounds is unsurpassed and very worth a visit.
Continue to visit Phu Quoc Prison which was built in 1949-1950 by the French colonists to jail those considered specialy dangerous to the colonist government. Many of the high ranking leaders of Vietnam were detained here. Lunch at famous Bai Sao beach known for its clear crystal turquoise water& white sand beach for swimming and relaxing time. Check in cable car station to enjoy an exciting ride on the world’s longest cable car. 25 minutes on the cable car high above the sky with spectacular panoramic view of fishing villages, town landscapes and surrounding islets is unforgetable memory. At Thom island, enjoy aquatopia water park with more than 25 modern games & 6 themed check in zones. Return to hotel at around 16:00.

Day 09: Phu Quoc Island (Breakfast)

08:30 pick up at your hotel lobby. Arrive at Cua Can, we will get on a kayak or basket boat paddle along with the surrounding of nature on the longest river of the island, observed the local river lives.
Visit the bee farm to listen to all explanations about the honeybee, useful information about the value of honey bee, understand why people need to protect the health of pollinators, especially honey bees and taste raw honey, a delicous product of the island. Continue drive through the National Park, an ideal habitat for over 470 plant species and numerous types of coral reefs offshore. Arrive at Rach Vem fishing village, which has been dubbed as “Kingdom of starfish”, one of the destinations on the wish lists of visitors on Phu Quoc featuring deep blue seawater, white sand beaches and a lot of starfish. Lunch is served after taking your time to relax and swim here. On the way back to hotel, stop at Ganh Dau beach for sightseeing with view of Cambodia. Tour end at hotel lobby around 16:00.
