Overview
Phu Quoc Island is perhaps most famous for its endless coastline of white sand beaches, but the diversity of experiences possible on the island makes it an ideal vacation destination for both domestic and international tourists.
With 150 kilometers of coastline, you can spend every day in Phu Quoc Island on a different beach. The beaches are beautiful on their own, but the ocean around Phu Quoc Island has its own appeal. The water here is calm as bathwater and clear as green glass.
Many of the islands in the archipelago are ringed by a dense and thriving system of coral reefs, both soft and rigid hard varieties. The pristine, transparent water is as good as a window into that aquatic world of vibrant color, making Phu Quoc Island one of the best places in Vietnam to try water sports and underwater activities like snorkeling and diving.
Covering an area of 567 square kilometers and home to 180,000 people, Phu Quoc is the largest island in Vietnam and the nation’s first island city. As if there wasn’t enough to do on Phu Quoc Island itself, there are 21 other islands in the Phu Quoc archipelago, each with its personality and unique ecosystem. Because many of them are entirely uninhabited, these islands are some of the places to find nature.
Phu Quoc has been named “World’s Leading Nature Island Destination 2022”. World Travel Awards, has been called the “travel industry’s equivalent of the Oscars” by The Wall Street Journal, announced on its website.

Itinerary
Day 01: Phu Quoc Island - Arrival (No Meal)
Pick up at Phu Quoc airport. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel and check-in.
Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.

Day 02: Phu Quoc Island - Highlights (Breakfast / Lunch)
After your breakfast at hotel, you are picked up & transfer to enjoy your full day tour exploring the island:
- Visit shell handicraft and Pearl shop: Pearls are farmed in oysters both naturally and artificially. Cultivation is performed in pools with nets where oyster shells cling and gather enough material to become pearls after a few years (three years on the average). This process can be expedited through oyster implants.
- All the stages of pearl farming and jewelry-making can be found in one complex, and this can be viewed by anyone interested, whether in a group tour or by oneself. You may be able to witness how oyster shells are cut open to retrieve pearls and how these pearls are bored, strung, or placed on silver or gold ornaments.
- Visit Ho Quoc Pagoda: its architecture is very old following ancient dynasty of Ly and Tran Kings with majestic framework, with panoramic to the beach and further to deep blue sea. From the entrance gate, there are 18 statues of solemn Arhat made from rock. In the middle is a concrete carved picture of dragon and lotus. Inside the temple at big front yard is a 3 meter-height marble statue of Buddha being meticulously sculpted. You must pass 70 stairs to get inside the main temple, there are 2 rows of stairs in the shape of 2 marble dragons sculpture animated.
- Visit Sao Beach: is an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. It has a perfect beach, white powdery sand, jungle backdrop and so many swaying palm trees for tourists to enjoy.
- Have lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we continue visiting:
- Visit Coconut Prison / Phu Quoc Prison. The prison was built in 1949-1950 by the French colonists to jail those considered especially dangerous to the colonist government. Many of the high-ranking leaders of Vietnam were detained here. It is ranked a special historical relic of national importance by the government of Vietnam. The most famous site in this prison is “tiger’s cage” (vi:”chuồng cọp”). The prison covers an area of 40,000 square metres (0.015 sq mi). The prison was closed after the country united and just opened for visitors later.
- Visit Pepper Farm on the way back.
Transfer back to hotels.

Day 03: Phu Quoc Island - Free & Easy (Breakfast)
Free day in Phu Quoc Paradise Island. You can choose from swimming, sunbathing, scuba diving or biking around the beautiful island.
Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.
Meal included: Breakfast at hotel.
Day 04: Phu Quoc Island - Departure (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until you are picked up & transfer to the airport for flight.
Meal included: Breakfast at hotel.
End of services.
