Overview
About 160 kilometres away from Hanoi, Pu Luong Nature Reserve is nestled in the northwest of Thanh Hoa Province, within the districts of Ba Thuoc and Quan Hoa. Pu Luong Vietnam is a picturesque blend of dense forests, cascading waterfalls, caves, and mountains, dotted with peaceful villages and lush terraces in summer. It is home to the Thai and Muong ethnic communities in Vietnam. In the Thai language, Pu Luong means “the highest peak of the village.”
Itinerary
Day 01: Hanoi - Arrival (Dinner)
Welcome to Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam. Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide and driver will meet and transfer you to the hotel to Check In. The balance of the day is for you to spend at your leisure. The capital city of Hanoi is home to the rich culture of the country and you will see both Chinese and French influences in architecture & cuisine as you explore the city. Free at leisure till welcome dinner at restaurant.

Day 02: Hanoi - Pu Luong (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Depart in the morning for Pu Luong Nature Reserve. On arrival, you will check-in and have lunch at Pu Luong. The afternoon activity will start with a walk along the rice terrace to Uoi Village (6km; 3 hours; level 1.5/5) discovering the peaceful life of Pu Luong, populated with the Thai ethnic minority.
Drive back to your overnight stay for relaxation. Enjoy the included dinner.

Day 03: Pu Luong (Walking) - Mai Chau (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Wake up in the morning to the sounds of nature, as well as a great view of Pu Luong.
After breakfast, drive to the Cham Mountain stream where you will take a short walk with many bamboo water pumps scattered along the way. Return to Pu Luong for lunch.
Free at your leisure to relax before driving to Mai Chau for your overnight stay.

Meal included: Breakfast at hotel. Lunch & Dinner.
Day 04: Mai Chau (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast, drive to Xam Khoe Village. You will set off on a walking tour to Buoc Village (populated by the Thai ethnic minority). Drive back to Mai Chau with a stop en route to explore the magnificent Van Mai Valley, visiting families and interacting with locals.
Overnight at Mai Chau.
Meal included: Breakfast at hotel. Lunch & Dinner.
Day 05: Mai Chau - Hanoi - Departure (Breakfast)
Transfer back to Hanoi airport for the next destination after breakfast; en route enjoy a rewarding panoramic view of the Mai Chau Valley. Meals on your own.
