The guide meets you in the hotel lobby at 9 a.m. We head to the southern edge of the ancient citadel (now the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense), where our walk begins. We first cross a lively street where, every morning, merchants display an impressive array of vegetables and fruits for sale. We continue walking and enter Hanoi’s unique “food street,” the only place in town where food shops are allowed to stay open 24/7. Our journey then takes us along the railway to view the impressive scenes of life by the tracks before ending at the Temple of Literature. After visiting this architectural masterpiece, we enjoy a typical Hanoian lunch: bun cha on the sidewalk. Bun cha is a specialty of Hanoi, featuring flavorful minced pork, flame-grilled and served with sticky rice noodles and spring rolls.

In the afternoon, we explore the garden of the Presidential Palace, featuring giant mango trees, the one-pillar pagoda, and the teak house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh spent his last years. We then transfer to the tree and plant street market, located in the northwest of the city. Here, we start a gentle walk along a busy street with sidewalks covered in lush green vegetation. The urban trail takes us off the main avenue along smaller pathways to a very special district. It suddenly feels like stepping back in time to the 1980s, when Hanoi was a quaint capital populated mostly by modest workers. Take some time to enjoy wandering around this fascinating district. The final stop of the day offers a chance to relax at a local café, where you can observe the daily life of the passing locals. We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver and transfer to the cruise port to embark on a day cruise through Halong Bay.

Enjoy a welcome drink as the boat begins sailing among the spectacular limestone islands and emerald waters of the bay. A buffet lunch will be served on board while you admire the surrounding scenery.

In the early afternoon, explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the largest and most impressive caves in Halong Bay, with its vast chambers and remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Continue to Luon Cave, a peaceful lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs, which can be explored by kayaking or traditional bamboo boat.
The cruise then continues to Titop Island, where you may relax on the beach or climb to the viewpoint for a panoramic view over Halong Bay.
Back on board, enjoy some relaxing time on the sundeck as the boat cruises back toward the harbor.

Upon disembarkation, meet your guide and driver and transfer back to Hanoi. On arrival, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Quy Nhon city center. Your first stop is the Twin Cham Towers, an impressive complex of two towers standing side by side. Like many Cham monuments in the region, their architecture reflects the distinctive cultural heritage of the Cham people and the influence of Hindu art. The visit offers an interesting introduction to Cham architecture and Vietnam’s history, while the peaceful setting among coconut palms and tropical greenery provides a pleasant contrast to the lively city surroundings.

Around lunchtime, enjoy a simple yet flavorful vegetarian meal at Truong Lac Restaurant, a local address known for its authentic cuisine.

After lunch, continue to Eo Gio, one of Quy Nhon’s most striking coastal landscapes. Its name means “the strait of the wind,” referring to its natural position between two Rocky Mountains facing the sea. Here, rugged cliffs curve around clear blue waters, creating a dramatic and unspoiled seascape. Take time to walk along the coast, admire the unusual rock formations and enjoy the fresh sea breeze in this peaceful natural setting.

Later, return to Quy Nhon and stop at the well-known Surf Bar, located directly on the city’s long sandy beach. Relax with a cold drink by the sea before continuing to the main square of Quy Nhon, where you can observe local life at sunset, with families, young people skating, children flying kites and residents gathering in the cooler evening air.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be welcomed by your local guide and driver and transferred to the city.
After your lunch, pay a city tour to admire Saigon’s historic landmarks including the Notre Dame Cathedral (outside), a red brick edifice with twin spires based on the original construction from Paris. Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, designed by the French architect, Gustave Eiffel. Continue your visit with the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war, revealing the history of Saigon during its turbulent recent past. Further, drive to visit the War Remnants Museum for a vivid insight of the American war through the local’s eyes then complete your day at Ben Thanh market, one of Saigon’s oldest developments and a symbol of the city.

End of the visit, enjoy a 60-minute relaxing body massage. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
